Music Video-Fianl Piece

Above is the Final Draft of my Music Video. The things that I have done in order to improve my Video include, firstly, making the video slightly longer. From this I believe my Video is mor e likely to follow the conventions of other existing media products.
Secondly, I have inserted more video clips in order to make my video more interesting for my target audience and less repetitive.

The things I think I could improve includes the following; make the video less repetitive by importing more video clips. From this I believe that my audience will be more entertained by watching my music video. However, I believe I have related well to the genre I have chosen at the beginning of planning the creation of my products. This is because due to using filming techniques such as stop animation, I believe I have used the "make do" and "hand made" appearance that can be found in existing Indie media products which was discussed in my style models and audience profile.

Music Video- First Draft

This is the first draft of my Music Video. To create this I have used an iMac and have used the program imovie. Some of the techniques I used in this video include taking off the Ken Burns element on my stop animation images. More so i have used the element split scene and precision editor in order to create a clip of film that has a appropriate time frame.



Evaluation

I believe that my music Video uses releveant features that have been discussed throughout the planning of my product. This includes refering to my target audience through things such as the informal phonological features such as the speech patterns of the characters within the video, yet also through things such as wardrobe. Moreso I believe that I have used some stereotypical elements that can be seen in existing media products such as the "youth" aspect which can be seen from the age of thoses within the video.

In order to improve my first Draft I believe that the Video needs to be longer at at leat 2 and a half minutes lontg. This is because although I want my Music Video to be shorter then existing music videos and appear more as a "taster" in order for indivisuals to want to hear more and therefore buy the album of the artist, I still want my target audience to have a better grasp of what the song and the artist is like.

In order to post this Video onto my blog I have firstly posted it onto youtube and then copied the URL of my Video before posting it onto my Blog. From this it can be seen that many new media devices have been used in the creation of making my blog.

Creation of Music Video-Behind the scenes Documentary and Equitment analysis

In order to gain the opinion of those I have worked with, yet to also show the creation of the music Video I have created a behind the scenes Documentary.
Moreso, it can be said that this is a stereotypical thing to do as many music videos have such "behind the scenes" documenary in ordr for their target audience to not only gain a freater understanding of how the video was made, yet also such documentary enable viewers to discover more about a particular artist.

Creation of music Video- Props and Technolgy used

Props

Below are the props I have used in my Music Video. I have also commented on why such items have been used and what effects it has on my Video. Such things include whether it coordinates with my target audience and the genre I have chosen to represent.

Technology

Below is the technology I have used throughout the process of creating mty Music Video which includes everything from writing down my original ideas on blogspot to editing my Music Video

on Imac Video Editor.                             

         

                                                                                                             I  have used a stills camera whilst creating my Music Video. This has enabled me to take images which I have made into stop animation sequences. I have also used this device to take images of the front cover and back of my C.D cover yet also my magazine advertisement.

I have used technology such s a Camcorder in order to shoot my music video. However I have also used ths device at a very early stage in my production where I practised filming techniques by shooting the comic video "Betty" which can be found at the begining of my planning blog.

Creation of my Music Video-Story board and Script

Firstly I have created a storyboard for my Music Video so that i know exactly which shot goes first. Because of this it will enable my Video to have a sence of continuity whilst also making it easier to film.
Story Board

 

           For my Music Video I have written a script which will be used in the first shot. I have used a fairly informal language choices in order to reprensent my target audience's speech patterns.
